A portrait could be commissioned for a variety of reasons. It could be to mark an achievement, to celebrate a life, to record an event, to capture a precious moment or as a lasting tribute to a dearly departed one. Whatever the reason for a portrait commission there are a few facts to bear in mind. It isn’t a vanity or an indulgence. It isn’t the preserve of just the wealthy or beautiful. It’s a unique and lasting tribute to our individuality. The face reflects all the tears and the joy, all the triumphs and the tragedies of life. Celebrate the life, capture the moment. But perhaps the most compelling argument of all… You deserve it.

I’d be delighted to meet you and discuss your requirements. Whether you’d like to commission a sensitive pencil sketch of a face or a life-sized family portrait in oils, all work will be pre-quoted and, once agreed, a deposit will be required. If you’d like to discuss a commission, please email me initially to get the ball rolling.
